Today is the 37th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon.

The concept album is showcases an individual's life from birth to death, and touches on concepts like greed ("Money"), war ("Us And Them"), time ("Time," haha) and death and insanity ("Brain Damage (Eclipse)"). It was recorded at London, England's famed Abbey Road Studios in May 1972 and January 1973 and produced by the band.

After its release, The Dark Side Of The Moon became one of the best-selling albums of all time. It remained on the U.S. album chart for 741 weeks, and even re-entered the charts in 1991.

The Dark Side Of The Moon has sold over 45 million copies worldwide - 15 million copies in the United States alone - and its singles ("Time" and "Money") remain some of the most-played songs on the radio.
