In Wednesday's (Oct. 28) episode of South Park, Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny play Rock Band, which basically involves Cartman doing a very off-key version of Lady GaGa's "Poker Face." (I think it's actually better than the original, but anyway...)
After he finishes, Stan tries to convince his friends help him do something about the slaughter of dolphins and whales by Japanese people. Cartman proudly announces he "doesn't give two shits about stupid ass whales," and launches back into a re-worked version of "Poker Face."
Even though this episode is a parody of Whale Wars, it probably says a lot about popular culture and how kids feel about current events, if you think about it...
