Now that the Long List of 40 albums for this year's Polaris Music Prize has been announced, it's going to get discussed to death, so let's just get it over and done with here.

What were you surprised to see? What do you think should have made the list and didn't? What albums shouldn't be on the list? What albums do you hate and think are completely overrated? Let's make this a free-for-all. (But behave yourselves, please.)

Four out of five of my selections made the list. I'm personally surprised Gentleman Reg's Jet Black is nowhere to be found on the list.
