- Born Jan. 13, 1961 in Hastings, England.
- Is better known as Suggs, frontman for U.K. ska-punks Madness.
- Took over vocals for Madness in 1977, but was later kicked out of the band for choosing to watch soccer instead of performing. He rejoined the next year.
- Has appeared on every Madness album and has released two solo albums, 1995's The Lone Ranger and 1997's The Three Pyramids Club.
- Has appeared in films like 1989's The Tall Guy and 1998's Don't Go Breaking My Heart, and once starred in a U.K. Channel 4 drama.
- Was one of BBC 6music's first DJs when the station launched in 2002, and is the former host of another show on Virgin Radio.
- Is married to former Deaf School singer Bette Bright.
