Tilda Swinton On New Patrick Wolf Album

Patrick Wolf has enlisted someone who might seem a bit of a strange guest to help him on his upcoming new album, Battle.
The guest is actress Tilda Swinton, who's recently appeared in films like the new Coen Brothers film Burn After Reading (highly recommended, by the way) and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.
But I'll always associate her with The White Witch, since that was her role in The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe and last year's follow-up, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I find her... a bit frightening.
For some reason, she'll be appearing on Wolf's Battle as the "voice of hope" or something along those lines. I don't exactly associate Swinton's acting resume with hope, but whatever.
Swinton and Wolf began collaborating after Wolf slipped the actress one of his CDs and a note at the premiere of last year's Julia, in which Swinton starred.
"My feeling is that we almost certainly come from the same planet: kith and kin," Swinton says of the project. "His music feels like the unexpressed soundtrack of a great film I want to see - and try to catch every night before I go to sleep. It's a lovely thing to be a part of that magical landscape."
I'm looking forward to this album, but Swinton still scares the hell out of me, especially since she looks a lot like Wolf in this photo:
Wow, guys.
