Cream Vs. Led Zeppelin

Former Cream bassist Jack Bruce has told Led Zeppelin to "fuck off," saying they are "crap."

In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, Bruce said he didn't understand why everyone was talking about Led Zeppelin reforming because Cream have played many more gigs. Apparently that logically makes them a better band. He also told the magazine that he thinks Jimmy Page is a "crap" guitarist and that Eric Clapton is much better.

"Everybody talks about Led Zeppelin [reforming], and they played one fucking gig – one fucking lame gig – while Cream did weeks of gigs [during their 2005 reunion]; proper gigs, not just a lame gig like Zeppelin did, with all the [vocal] keys lowered and everything," Bruce said. "We played everything in the original keys.

"Fuck off, Zeppelin, you're crap. You've always been crap and you'll never be anything else. The worst thing is that people believe the crap that they're sold. Cream is 10 times the band that Led Zeppelin is."
