Relapse... when?

So when exactly is Eminem's Relapse coming out?

If you believe the U.K. HMV, it's out Dec. 1 (which would mean it's out Dec. 2 in North America). According to MTV.ca, Amazon.com says it'll be out on Dec. 23. (When I looked at the page MTV.ca had linked to, I could not see a listed release date. Feel free to let me know if I'm blind.) Meanwhile, I've seen it listed elsewhere for Dec. 16.

What do we think? Dec. 23 seems a bit too close to Christmas, and we think Shady might want to release it earlier so people could jump on it and he could increase his sales. I'm going to go with either the 2nd or the 16th (assuming it even comes out at all this year) because since 50 Cent's new album is out on the 9th, I don't see Eminem wanting to compete with his protege for sales. This is all conjecture, of course.
