Fix Your MySpace, Weirdos!

While at work, I check bands' official MySpace pages like 1,389,582 times a day (but that's just an estimate). I've grown accustomed to the fact that, while MySpace is a wonderful tool, most bands blow the shit out of their pages with awful images and boisterous layouts overriding MySpace's perfectly acceptable default view.

Today in particular, there were two major offenders:

Blind Melon
WTF. You have perverted the cute little bee girl from your Shannon Hoon-era, self-titled debut and the classic "No Rain" video from the early '90s into this slutbag. Seriously!?:

Which has led me to do some detective work. (And by detective work, I mean I Googled her name.) The 25-year-old actress Heather DeLoach has since made appearances in movies like Camp Nowhere and The Beautician And The Beast, and also popped up in a coupla episodes of ER. She most definitely does not look like any kind of slutbag here:

The Killers
I was pretty into Hot Fuss at the time, not gonna lie, but my interest has plummeted for the Las Vegas quartet ever since. And if the music wasn't enough to convince me, their stylist has definitely put the final nail in the coffin from the image at the top of their MySpace page.

Yes, they all look like incredible wieners, but whoever thought red PJ leopard pants — tucked into boots, no less, for added flair — were a good idea should be fired. This photo is laughably bad. Please start dressing better, at least for PR shots, so I only have to make fun of your shitty new music.
