Oasis' Smart Promotional Tactic

Well I'll be damned if that little scuffle at VFest has set poor Noel and co. back a few tour dates. They cancelled their New York show tonight, but in lieu of that, have come up with one hell of a promotion instead.
Oasis planned rehearsals today with street performers in the Big Apple to show them three brand spankin' new tracks from their forthcoming seventh album, Dig Out Your Soul. The performers, who take on the many forms of indie rockers, jazz guitarists, a "shred violinist" and I'm guessing everything in between, will play the songs at street corners, subways and landmarks around the city. For times and places, click here.
Psst... there's a rumour going around that Oasis might also be busking... (Far-fetched? Probably, but I'll spread it anyways.)
Get well soon, Noel!
