Season Opener Victory!
The Hack were victorious by the score of 8-1, in their 2008-09 season opener last night against long-time rival and 2007-08 Zed Sharp division champs, the Gas Station Islanders.
Leading the way in scoring for the Hack was Lance Moreton with three goals and two assists. David Laverdiere had a goal and three assists.
The Islanders were without Sloanie Andrew Scott and featured ex-Rheo Dave Bidini subbing in net for their regular keeper Sean Markle.
