Experimental outfit Dirty Projectors were involved in an auto accident on Tuesday and have canceled their Toronto and Montreal tour dates. The band will return to New York to recover.
Dirty Projectors seem to have finally found the balance between experimentalism and pop on Bitte Orca. Its songs are out-there without being overly esoteric or cerebral, and are poppy, but manage stay true to the group's nerd rock roots.
Brooklyn, New York's Dirty Projectors will release a Black Flag-inspired album titled Rise Above on Sept. 11 through Dead Oceans.
