The T&A factor in Nashville Pussy always ensures that guitarist Blaine Cartwright pictured doing a classic scissors kick, and drummer Jeremy Thompson are always overlooked. Seems no one wants to look at their deranged faces.
We wanted run a photo of the seven foot amazon known as Corey Parks or Ruyter Suys, but frankly we didn't want to bow down to the lowest common dominator. You can see those photos however by clicking here (along with shots of Lemmy of Motorhead, the headlining act, Motorhead).
Our jetsetting photographer Rob Dutchin, who just got back from Amsterdam where he photographed Mighty Mighty Bosstones and NoFX raced from the airport to The Warehouse to shoot both Motorhead and Nashville Pussy on Saturday, June 24.
Unfortunately the poor sound quality at the venue, a general problem that is always stated by every reviewer about Toronto's Warehouse was the only reason to hate the show. Even the house music sounded so horrid that it was hard to hear the Stone Temple Pilots being pumped into the heavy metal masses.
