Last week, Aussie post-teen sensations, Silverchair dropped into the "usually" friendly MuchMusic environment for an interview with MuchMusic VJ Bill Welychka. As soon as Daniel, Chris and Ben entered the studio, pandamonium erupted. Our intrepid reporter/intern (and Silverchair fanatic), Krystine Buzny, described the scene as such — "(Female fans) were going totally ballistic and having many problems following extremely simple instructions from Much's people such as "Don't touch them!" and "No pictures during the taping!" On top of that, there were also a few girls who were openly speaking about Daniel's "sickness" and how everyone should 'stop calling out his name before he snaps' (huh?) - all while he was approximately 2 feet away from them!" Here's a shot from a much calmer moment for the Aussie trio.
