Thrush Hermit's Joel Plaskett

Now, we admit this may not be the most flattering picture of Mr. Joel Plaskett in existence, but we were struck by just how much he looks like Ian Curtis of Joy Division here! Thrush Hermit will hopefully have much more success and longevity than the doomed Mancunians — but hell, if they end up mutating into some Can-rock equivalent of New Order, bring it on! This shot was taken during the Hermit's scorching North By Northeast set.
