Melky Sedeck:

Blandinna Melky Jean of Melky Sedeck shines like a star in her silver lamé at the Guvernment last week. She and her brother (the Sedeck half of their moniker) were in town with hip-hop sensations The Roots. The duo are younger siblings of The Fugees' Wyclef Jean, and it's quite clear from both their stunning live show and their impressive debut album Sister & Brother (Universal) that there's talent to spare in the Jean family. Check out the album for some cool samples, including snippets of Rene Simard, Gershwin and Evelyn Harris, among others.
