YouTube Party with TOPS

If you’ve ever wondered what your favourite artists do when they’re out of their mind bored on the Internet, welcome to YouTube Party. We ask an artist/band to chart their Internet fascinations through a curated list of videos culled from YouTube that center upon a theme of the artist’s choosing.

This week, we get a curated list from Montreal’s pop revivalists TOPS.

OUTSIDE/IN THE STUDIO

These are a bunch of our favorite music videos and studio performances on youtube.com. They’re either shot outside or in a studio. The only new one is a music video that a friend of ours made for Kool Music, which I think is amazing, and doesn’t really fit with the other videos. Other notable videos include a Depeche Mode performance on top of the World Trade Center (Thom’s pick), a performance by Ann Steel on Italian television with an insane looking host, a perfect video and song by Thin Lizzy and an AC Marias video where Angela Conway looks really relaxed and has her feet up.
