hédre are nothing if not elusive, and that suits them just fine. Unapologetically challenging and musically disparate, the experimental Toronto collective recorded their self-titled debut LP with Doldrums’ Airick Woodhead–another definition-defying electronic entity–an album which stands out on its Daps Records home as one of its most unrelentingly genre-bending releases. Shot in the basement of Oz Studios, this edition of Noisemakers sees the band performing “Supernatural,” an unreleased track that’s never been heard before now.
