Noisemakers S1E5: PS I Love You

onfronting the void with apocalyptic pop, Kingston duo PS I Love You have been consistently destroying eardrums since their striking 2010 debut Meet Me at the Muster Station.  Their follow-up Death Dreams, inspired by the pains of touring and a morbid fascination with death, is set to expand upon their self-destructive sound, while also keeping them nicely situated within their preferred crackling fuzz.  We thought we’d take them out of the musty bars and into our home – or more specifically, our backyard. No neighbors were harmed during the recording of this performance.

With Paul Saulnier’s distinctly wailing vocals and caustic guitar alongside Benjamin Nelson’ spastic drums, the two guys treated us to “Future Dontcare”, a raucous new song that collapses, only to build itself up again.  You can grab Death Dreams on May 8 via Paper Bag Records.
