Song Of The Day: Shortwave's "The Sublime"

Shortwave's "The Sublime" straddles the line between Cracker-esque mid-'90s alt.rock and the atmospheric anthems of U2. You can find the tune on their The Skyline Verses debut album, which came out last month.
Rather interestingly, the album title comes from their tune "Louis L'Amour," which is named after the American novelist who was famous for penning westerns like How The West Was Won and The Quick And The Dead. Does it indicate this band might have some country influences up their sleeves? Hmm....
You can see Shortwave in Toronto for Canadian Music Week this Saturday at The Garrison. They're also playing a gig in Kingston, Ont. on March 18.
