This tune from San Francisco’s Girls doesn’t sound like puke at all. In fact, it sounds downright calm — or melancholic, you pick and choose — at the beginning.
But then it kind of goes into overdrive and turns into a hard-rocking, organ-backed, six-minute-plus jam that’s kinda reminiscent of The Dears and then turns into a gospel-drenched freakout at the end. It’s sure to get Christopher Owens and Chet “JD” White more fans.
“Vomit” will appear on Girls’ upcoming Father, Son, Holy Ghost sophomore album, which is out Sept. 13.
