Since I Left You, the one and only studio album from Australian turntablists and breakbeat artists The Avalanches, will be reissued this year to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The LP will come with brand new remixes from El Guincho, MF Doom, Black Dice and Stereolab, among others.
You can hear Stereolab’s reworking of the title track, which is significantly more blissed out and less frenetic sounding than the sample-heavy (about 3,500 samples were used on it!) record. The reissue will also include B-ides, demos and other rarities.
There’s no release date just yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
