Denver indie rockers Tennis have covered ’60s rockabilly and country singer Brenda Lee’s “Is It True,” which they do pretty faithfully in the MP3 you can hear up above.
There’s a Phil Spector-esque Wall Of Sound added to their version of the track, though, which makes it sound like it’s a lot more akin to tunes by ’60s girl groups like The Ronettes.
Tennis released their Cape Dory debut album earlier this year.
