New York weirdo rockers Hooray For Earth have covered Owen Pallett‘s “Lewis Takes Action,” which can be found on Pallett’s 2010 Polaris Music Prize short listed Heartland LP.
They’ve taken the strings from Pallett’s original and warped things the fuck up by putting their melody through distorted electric guitar to make it sound like you might as well be listening to this while being put through a washer that’s floating in space. Or something.
Hooray For Earth’s True Loves album is out now. This isn’t on it, but it sounds a lot like the record.
