“Loop The Loop” appears on Wild Beasts‘ recently released Smother. Like most of the tunes from that album, it features lyrics filled with quiet longing that build to some kind of mid-song bubbly climax about things you want to take back, but can’t.
You have to wonder when Hayden Thorpe sings, “There are so many songs I regret” if he’s going to listen to this one in a few years time and hate it.
