If you came of age in the ’80s and spent plenty of time listening to The Replacements, Paul Westerberg’s solo material or Husker Du… or, hell, any kind of alternative rock out of Minneapolis, you’ll probably dig Modernboys Moderngirls‘ new single.
There’s also hints of Dinosaur Jr. towards the end of the song, which contains the kind of fuzzed-out, heavy guitar you’d normally expect to be created by one of J Mascis’ Big Muff pedals.
