Oasis have spilled the beans on the songs from Dig Out Your Soul, the follow-up to 2005's Don't Believe The Truth.
The British rock band's album will be released on Oct. 7 through their Big Brother Recordings label. Guitarist Noel Gallagher, lead singer Liam Gallagher, guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell contributed tracks to Dig Out Your Soul, which was produced by Dave Sardy (The Dandy Warhols, Wolfmother), recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, England and mixed in Los Angeles. Lead single "The Shock Of The Lightning" will precede the LP by a week.
Drummer Zak Starkey played on the album, but he's been replaced by Chris Sharrock for the group's upcoming North American tour, which includes these Canadian shows:

- Aug. 30 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome
- Sept. 1 Winnipeg, MB @ MTS Centre

- Sept. 7 Toronto, ON @ Toronto Island Park (Virgin Festival)
- Sept. 9 London, ON @ John Labatt Centre
