 The Explorers Club |
The Explorers Club are from Charleston, S.C., but they sound like they're straight out of 1960s California.
The Beach Boys influence is evident within the first few seconds of many of the songs on The Explorers Club's debut album, Freedom Wind, which will be released on May 20 by Dead Oceans. Lead single "Do You Love Me?" and "Last Kiss" can be heard on the group's MySpace page.
The harmony-rich band are composed of frontman and songwriter Jason Brewer, multi-instrumentalists/vocalists James Faust and David Ellis, drummer Neil Thomas, bassist/vocalist Wally Reddington and keyboardist Stefan Rogenmoser.
Here are the tracks on Freedom Wind:
- "Forever"
- "Honey I Don’t Know Why"
