Halifax rockers Matt Mays & El Torpedo's second full band album, Terminal Romance, will be released on July 8 by Sonic Records.
Mays (guitar, vocals), Jay Smith (guitar, vocals), Andy Patil (bass, vocals) and Tim Jim Baker (drums) headed to southern England late last year to hook up with producer Chris Tsangarides (Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest) to record Terminal Romance. Lead single "Tall Trees" is at radio now.
The band's self-titled album came out in 2005, while Mays' 2002 debut and 2006's When The Angels Make Contact were just issued under his name.
Matt Mays & El Torpedo will play a number of North American shows around the album's release, including these Canadian dates:

- July 3 Ottawa, ON @ Ottawa Bluesfest (Rogers Stage)

- July 9 Kelowna, BC @ Prospera Place w/Kid Rock
- July 11 Edmonton, AB @ Rexall Place w/Kid Rock
- July 12 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome w/Kid Rock
- July 15 Saskatoon, SK @ Saskatoon Credit Union Centre w/Kid Rock
- July 16 Winnipeg, MN @ MTS Centre w/Kid Rock
