M.I.A. Tours Canada, With Holy Fuck Tagging Along For Two Dates

Go grab your neon American Apparel get-up and ridiculous Aviator sunglasses, because M.I.A. has just announced some Canadian dates.
M.I.A. (real name Maya Arulpragasam) will kick off her latest North American tour on April 11. Toronto electronica act Holy Fuck will be along for the some of the ride, including shows in Toronto and Montreal.
M.I.A.'s sophomore album, Kala, was released last year and has sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide. Holy Fuck released their debut full-length, LP, last year. It hit #1 on the Canadian campus radio chart in January and is up for a best alternative album Juno Award along with Arcade Fire's Neon Bible, Patrick Watson's Close To Paradise, Tegan And Sara's The Con and Wintersleep's Welcome To The Night Sky.
Holy Fuck are in the middle of a European tour that wraps up at the end of April. They'll fly back to North America to perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival… which M.I.A. will also play. We wonder if Holy Fuck will be considered too loud for Coachella, as they were for last year's Glastonbury Festival in the U.K.?
