Washington, D.C.'s These United States will release their debut full-length, A Picture Of The Three Of Us At The Gate To The Garden Of Eden, on March 4 through United Interests.
The core of These United States is comprised of Jesse Elliott and David Strackany (who, as Paleo, recorded 365 songs in 365 days last year). The duo entrusted the help of 30-some-odd musicians they knew to help on the new album.
These United States have played more than 300 shows in the U.S. and Europe over the past two years and will tour throughout the U.S. for the next two months, including March shows at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. No Canadian dates have been announced, but you can preview "Sun Is Below & Above" and "Slow Crows Over" on the psych-folk collective's MySpace page.
