JackSoul's Haydain Neale Badly Hurt In Scooter Accident

JackSoul singer Haydain Neale is in hospital after a car collided with his motor scooter on Friday night.

Neale, 36, was hit by a Honda Civic and police traffic services officer Andy Norrie told the Toronto Star that "charges are likely" against the 27-year-old driver who turned left into his path. The accident is still under investigation, but Norrie said that there was "no alcohol [involved], no speed, no mechanical failure, no intent."

Though Neale was wearing a helmet, he sustained head injuries. Friends and family members issued this statement on Tuesday:

"Haydain was in an unfortunate traffic accident on the evening of Friday, August 3rd. He is in the hospital in critical but stable condition. The family thanks everyone for their concern and support and hope to have an update soon."
