Band 2 Band: Why HAELOS want to play their album for Justin Trudeau

Apr 13, 2016
Our video series Band 2 Band helps artists learn more about each other in the most natural way we could think of: by pulling questions out of a jar and asking them to each other.

Arthur Delaney, Dom Goldsmith, and Lotti Benardout make up London's Haelos (stylized as HÆLOS). Their debut album Full Circle brings you under the moonlight with a pack of howling wolves chasing each other around a mountain. But in music form. You can understand why they call their music "dark euphoria."

On Band 2 Band, the group take things a bit lighter. They talk about being space detectives, wanting to play their album for our Prime Minister, and they learn a devastating lesson about something that defines their childhood. We're so sorry to have been the bearer of bad news. To make up for it, we'll bring them avocados next time around.

Haelos' Full Circle is out now on Matador Records.
