Inward Eye @ Horseshoe Tavern
Saturday March 08, 2008 @ 05:30 PM
By: ChartAttack.com Staff

rcimage Band: Inward Eye
Hometown: Winnipeg, MB
Venue: The Horseshoe Tavern
Date: March 7, 2008
Reporter: David Missio
BACKGROUND/COMPOSITION:
Inward Eye have no qualms about utterly losing themselves in the mod-pop assault they lay down for audiences show after show, but after a few frenetic guitar solos and non-stop posturing, you can't help but wonder where one song ended and the next began.

Grade: 80

Comment:Inward Eye have been playing these showcases for a while now, but it seems like much of what they have to bring just remains the same. They wear their influences proudly on their sleeves as emmisaries of wild, unabashed rock, but whirling dervish guitar playing and frantic yelps into a microphone have yet to prove why we should care beyond their raucous set.

Achievement of Rock 'n' Roll Expectations
80-100: Exceeds skill and knowledge expectations, i.e. rocked us so hard we peed our pants.
70-79: Achieves required skills and knowledge. Meets rock 'n' roll standard.
60-69: Demonstrates some skills. Approaches rock 'n' roll standard.
50-59: Demonstrates some required skills and knowledge in a limited way.
00-50: Has not demonstrated required skills or knowledge.
