| Will Kevans is a singer/songwriter from the U.K. who brought a package of country and rock to Canada. It’s nothing we haven’t seen before, but the attempt is whole-hearted. Kevans, we’ll accept you as an exchange student for sure. |
| Comment: Kevans and his guitar partner presented some pleasant harmonies, providing a warm and feel-good environment, but lost some oomph towards the end of the set, during which about twenty people were in the venue. However, Kevans showed off how confident and relaxed he was and probably found a few fans who will want to jet-set back home with him. |

Kevans ended each song with either a high-pitched “oo!” or complete silence as he tuned for the next. He and his partner muttered to one another, but didn’t let the audience in on the secret. He attempted to talk to the crowd a bit, but seeing as nobody was remotely near the stage, it was a bit tricky. |

Will Kevans’ style of alternative country/rock blends a hope of pop into the mix and has that lift-you-up kind of feel. This is probably good for some sort of trip where you need music that makes you walk a little faster but holds you back from running around like an idiot. Kevans’ songs blended together more than just style towards the end though. |

When a pair of guys spend half their set strumming guitars and harmonizing and the other half tangled in guitar cords, on lookers' minds have the potential to wander. But Kevans didn’t let his equipment affect his night and kept his confidence in check, belting out songs that would make you sway a little.
