The Mecija sisters harmonize like... um... sisters. It's like they've been doing it forever, which adds
a sweetened layer to their orchestral indie rock. The band's sound was so clear and loaded that I'm now scared to listen to the album in fear that it won't sound as
as full of life. The band easily moved from quiet songs to louder rock-out moments with trumpets and banjo. |

E | I get the strange feeling that as lovely, talented and indie as Ohbijou are, they could also
kick your ass in a fight. They ooze a certain mystery and tough nerdiness. Also worth mentioning is violinist/vocalist/keyboardist Jennifer Mecija's impressive
instrument changes and the fact that she can play the violin and sing at the same time with ease. Whoa.
